Microphone and speakers in either element of the installation transport the participants to the other element,
allowing for a physically disconnected interaction. The participant inserting his/her head into the ear is
presented with a muffled environment with binaural sounds coming from microphones on opposite sides of the mouth. A microphone in the ear
transmits audio to speakers in the mouth, sounds heard with a stethoscope.
