Using video screens, cameras and dividers the viewer/participant becomes the focal point. The body is disconnected
visually via selected angles and partitions. The hands of the participant are layered over the rotating upper torso
and head in the video. While physically standing still, camera shots from the front, sides and back of the participant
create a spinning image. Two LCD screens at eye level show the same video feed from the cameras, alternating the
perspective every second. The screens are small, requiring the viewer to stand close, reducing the depth of field
so that the partitions create a visually closed environment. The partitions become the background in the video,
removing the structure of the gallery from the view of the participant.
